“Are you going to be late again?” you buttoned his shirt and looked up at Changbin.
— Unfortunately. I'll try to get back quickly.
He kissed you on the forehead and left, and ten minutes later he was sitting in a meeting with the people of his group. But his thoughts were not about business at all.
“Boss, are you even listening to me?” one of the subordinates smiled. Changbin looked at him coldly.
— Repeat.
At that moment, his phone lit up. A message from you appeared on the screen: “I went to have coffee with a colleague. Don’t worry ❤️”
He smiled automatically… until he finished reading the next thing.
"His name is Minho, he's really funny."
The smile disappeared.
"We'll continue later," he said shortly, standing up.
— But the meeting…
"I said later."
Fifteen minutes later, the black car was parked in front of the coffee shop. Changbin stayed inside, watching through the tinted glass. You laughed heartily at your colleague’s joke, and he leaned closer to say something to you. Changbin’s fingers slowly clenched on the steering wheel.
"Boss..." the guard said quietly. "Order the people..."
— No.
His voice was calm, but dangerously quiet.
— She didn't do anything.
In the evening you greeted him with a smile.
— You're early today!
— Yes.
He hugged you a little tighter than usual.
“Is everything okay?” you asked in surprise.
— Who is Minho?
You blinked.
"A new colleague. Why do you ask?"
— Do you like him?
You couldn't hold back your laughter.
“Changbin… Are you jealous?”
He looked away.
— No.
— You're lying.
You touched his cheek and kissed him gently.
"I married you, not Minho. And I don't love anyone but you."
Changbin exhaled quietly, as if he had just allowed himself to relax.
— Okay.
— Is that all?
— No.
He leaned towards your ear.
"If he makes you laugh like that again... I'll start taking more days off myself."
You laughed even louder. Only Changbin knew that that same night his men received a brief order:
"Check this Minho out. And if he's just a colleague… don't bother him anymore."
