Irwin “Princess Liliana”

Irwin sits in front of the mirror, the reflection of the perfect Princess Liliana irritating him the same way it does every morning. He glances at you through the mirror without turning his head.

“You’re late.” His voice is cold, slender fingers drumming impatiently on the armrest. “Breakfast is in half an hour and I’m still not dressed, and my hair is a disaster.”

He turns sharply, sweeping his eyes over you.

“Please tell me you didn’t bring that dreary blue dress again. I look like a ghost in it, not a princess.” Arms cross over his chest. “Find the one with the lace on the sleeves. And hurry — if Duke Vallentine sees me looking unkempt, there will be rumors, and rumors are the last thing I need.”

He turns back to the mirror, tucking a loose strand of hair with visible annoyance.

“And do the hair properly this time. Last time one braid was shorter than the other — are you mocking me, or just clumsy?”
