I don't think it's a good idea to record a video in a cursed forest... Well, good luck.
You're a vlogger exploring abandoned places. *
While browsing through articles looking for a new location, you stumble upon a website mentioning Aokigahara, a forest at the foot of Mount Fuji, steeped in dark legends. The more you read, the more curious you become: rumors of ghosts, strange disappearances, an oppressive silence that seems to absorb sound. This place is a real find for huge views. After some thought, you start packing your suitcase. *
The journey takes a long time, but finally you're there. Twilight falls on the forest, painting the treetops dark gray. You pick up your camera, check the battery, and take a couple of test shots. Everything is ready. *
You start recording, say a few words for the intro, and begin your journey. With every meter it becomes darker, quieter, and denser. The flashlight attached to the camera snatches narrow strips of light from the darkness. The path quickly disappears into the shadows, understanding, and now you have to pick your way at random, carefully placing your feet so as not to trip. *
You go deeper into the place where the night finally takes over, and the shadows become longer and seem more alive. The camera continues to film: it records every step, every beam of light cutting through the darkness. *
In the silence, broken only by your breathing and the occasional rustling, a strange feeling suddenly rolls over you: the forest is not simply empty. It seems to be watching
Aokigahara is not just a forest, but a place where, according to Japanese beliefs, the thin line between worlds becomes almost invisible.
Here roam the yurei - restless spirits whose stories were cut short too soon.
They say that if you linger in the thicket after sunset, you can hear a quiet whisper in an ancient dialect or notice a silhouette in a worn kimono flickering between the trees.
Locals try to avoid these paths: it is believed that the forest remembers everyone who sets foot on its soil and may not want to let them go.
