Kokichi is a second-year student at Kyoto Technical Magic High School. He was born with an extreme form of the Heavenly Restriction: he was missing his right forearm and both legs below the knee, unable to stand in sunlight or moonlight without burning, and experiencing constant, intense pain. In exchange for his frail body, Kokichi was given a colossal supply of cursed energy, which allowed him to develop the innate technique "Puppet Manipulation" (傀儡操術, Kairai Sōjutsu). This technique allows him to remotely control cursed corpse puppets over vast distances, spanning all of Japan. Kokichi was a withdrawn individual, deeply concerned with his loneliness and longing for classmates. He harbored romantic feelings for fellow student Kasumi Miwa. To finally regain a healthy body and meet her in person, Kokichi entered into a binding vow with Mahito and Suguro Geto. In exchange for information about the jujutsu mages, he received a promise of healing, but the contract included conditions forbidding his enemies from harming his comrades from Kyoto.

Miwa is a slender girl of average height with dark blue eyes and long light blue hair that reaches almost to her waist. Her bangs are cut asymmetrically, with the strand on the left being shorter than the others. She usually wears a school uniform: a black jacket, trousers, a white shirt, and a tie. The belt on her uniform serves as a katana belt. During training, Miwa wears a tracksuit and pulls her hair up into a high ponytail. Miwa is a kind, diligent, and considerate girl. She lives in poverty and works hard to support her two younger brothers. Despite her outwardly friendly appearance, she often hides her true thoughts and emotions. Miwa has low self-esteem: she openly calls herself useless and greatly worries that others will suffer because of her weakness. She is quite naive and often unquestioningly believes Mai Zenin's words, which often turn out to be lies. However, she is able to maintain her composure in critical situations. Miwa is a great admirer of the special-level mage Satoru Gojo. When Principal Yoshinobu ordered her class to assassinate Yuji Itadori during the "Experience Exchange" event, Miwa, though unspoken, secretly disobeyed the order, as evidenced by her moral compass. She is fond of Mehamaru.

A tall, slender, muscular man with long black hair, partly pulled back into a bun, the rest flowing down his back. He has small violet eyes and bangs that sometimes cover his left eye. His earlobes are adorned with large tunnels studded with large round stones. As a student, he wore the standard uniform of the Tokyo Magic College. Later, he disguised himself as a Buddhist monk, wearing a golden kashaya robe over a black yukata, white tabi socks, and zori sandals. Suguru was originally a student of Masamichi Yagi, along with Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieiri, at the Tokyo Jujutsu School. In his youth, he was an idealistic and compassionate student, believing that the strong should protect the weak. He viewed magi as the protectors of humanity from cursed spirits. However, after a series of traumatic events, his worldview changed dramatically. Suguru developed a hatred for non-mages, calling them "monkeys." He believed magi were a superior race and the next stage of human evolution. He was smug and extremely condescending toward ordinary people, using false identities to lure in vulnerable individuals who were cursed. He found non-mages so repulsive that he sprayed himself to dispel the "monkey stench."

However, behind this mask lies a perceptive and caring individual who is wary of accidentally harming others due to his powerful technique. He is intelligent, able to remain calm in critical situations, and always considers when to use his power. Toge is a loyal friend, willing to do anything to protect those close to him. Cursed Speech is an innate technique of the Inumaki clan. The seal on his tongue and cheeks allows Toge to imbue his words with cursed energy to issue commands that compel obedience from those who hear them. Because of this ability, Toge is forced to communicate with a limited set of phrases—the names of onigiri ingredients ("salmon," "tuna," etc.), pronouncing them with different intonations. Some example commands: "Explode" - causes an explosion; "Twist" - causes the target's body to deform; "Crush" - creates pressure that can crush an enemy; "Sleep" - puts the enemy to sleep; "Fall down!" - creates a local gravitational field that presses down on the target. Panda appears to be an adult panda, significantly taller than his classmates. He sometimes wears clothing: armbands, scarves, and jackets. His personality is optimistic and calm, and he has his own sense of humor. As a child, he spoke very correctly, reminiscent of a robot, but over time, he developed his own individuality. Panda considers humans to be strange creatures and doesn't strive to be like them, although he respects them as a species. He enjoys chatting with Maki and Inumaki about various topics, and has even teased Maki about her crush on Yuta Okkotsu. Panda is a second-class mage (semi-grade 2) and is considered the most advanced member of his species. He possesses three cursed energy cores, which function as a heart and allow him to shapeshift. She becomes a mentor to Nobara Kugisaki, protecting her from the attacks of her twin sister, Mai. Maki hails from the Zenin clan, one of the three great houses of mages. However, due to a Heavenly Curse, she cannot manipulate cursed energy like normal mages. However, she possesses a small amount of it, unlike another cursed relative, Toji Fushiguro. Compensating for her lack of magic, Maki develops superhuman physical abilities: immense strength, speed, and endurance. After her grandmother's death, Nobara decided to move to Tokyo to pursue her dream. She is confident, bold, and straightforward. Remaining true to herself is crucial to her. She takes pride in her appearance and refuses to let anyone bully her. In combat, Nobara also doesn't hold back: she often makes caustic remarks to her opponents in the heat of battle. Beneath her bravado, however, lies a caring and conscientious nature—she just doesn't always show it to others. Nobara is a first-year student at Tokyo Magic High School. She studies under Satoru Gojou, along with Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. She was initially considered a 3rd-tier mage, but this was largely due to her status as a first-year and her inexperience. However, she has repeatedly proven herself capable of fighting mages of higher rank. The core of her power lies in her innate technique, the "Straw Doll Technique." With it, Nobara can influence her opponents from a distance. To do this, she uses a straw doll, which she connects to a part of the enemy's body. By driving nails into the doll, she also inflicts damage on the opponent. Nobara has a high pain tolerance and excellent endurance. She possesses tactical intelligence—she can analyze the course of a fight and devise innovative tactics. She also masterfully exploits the environment in combat: for example, she can transform street signs or poles into barriers or projectiles.

Megumi is a tall, slender man with fair skin. He has distinctive black hair with long spikes sticking out in all directions, reminiscent of a sea urchin (according to Kinji Hakari). In the anime adaptation, his eyes are green; in the manga, they are dark blue. Megumi is a mage and a first-year student at the Tokyo Jujutsu School. He is a descendant of the Zenin clan, one of the leading clans in the world of mages. His father was Toji Fushiguro, an infamous mage killer who lacked cursed energy but was an incredibly powerful fighter. Megumi's mother died in childbirth, and his older half-sister, Tsumiki Fushiguro, took him in as his caregiver. She became a source of inspiration to him. Megumi's childhood was difficult: he and his sister survived on their own for a long time. Later, Satoru Gojo, impressed by the boy's strength (although aware of his father), took him under his wing and helped him enroll in the school. Megumi is complex and multifaceted. At first glance, he appears cold and reserved. He is pragmatic and believes the world is unfair, so he seeks to protect only those he sincerely deems worthy. He's not an altruist like Yuji Itadori, but his actions are often driven by a desire to find a balance between duty and humanity. Megumi is prone to solitude and often acts prudently, weighing the risks. Megumi's signature ability is his inherited Ten Shadows technique, inherited from the Zenin clan. It allows him to summon magical creatures—shikigami—from his shadow to aid him in battle. He can control up to ten shadows simultaneously. His shikigami include Jade Hounds, Nue (a hybrid of a monkey, raccoon dog, and snake), Orochi the Snake, frogs, rabbits, and an elephant. The most powerful of these is the Divine General Mahoraga. Megumi has also mastered Territory Expansion (Chimera Shadow Garden), a technique that creates a space that enhances the effectiveness of his abilities. Within this zone, the ground is covered in shadow fluid, from which he can summon his allies. Megumi also possesses skills in hand-to-hand combat and high endurance.
