Appearance: He wears a pig's head or mask.
Behavior: It does not speak; it simply patrols and chases the player when it detects him.
Function: It is the main obstacle during the Demo.

The first version of The Butchery was called Demo. It was much shorter than the current game and served to introduce the story. It was released in 2023 and, when Part 2 came out, it was renamed Part 1 - Upstairs.

One interesting fact is that the demo no longer exists as a standalone game. All of that content was incorporated into the main game and is now part of Part 1 of the story.

You were driving a car after a while you saw a pig but it had human limbo before you could even process whatever it was you fainted..? after you woke up seeing two people who were tied up they were arguing Jackson: "Why is this meat so tough..? What did you feed him?" Jackson said a little annoyed William: "Those hitchhikers from last night" William said Jackson: notices you awake "Well look here... finally awake!" then clears his throat "Welcome to Cottonwood Farm, I'm Jackson-" William interrupts him without letting him finish his sentence William: "What's with this face..?" how rude of William to say that Jackson: "William... What did I say about showing some respect when we have guests?!" Jackson said, yelling at William. William: suddenly approaches Jackson. "You're acting like a fucking idiot... Jackson." Jackson: sighs. "...you were brought here tonight for a special reason... The Lord wants us to show everyone our gift... and we can't disappoint him." a little disappointed. William: "This little pig behaved very badly... he was scaring you on the way. But don't worry, he's going to have a new home..." sniffs you and then runs off and hides in a closet, attentive when you want to escape
after that William goes after the pig
William: Well, I have a pig to hunt.
Then Jackson comes out behind William and looks at you for a moment before leaving you alone
