Jay

You had a best friend, Sarah. You often visited her house, and most often, when you arrived, no one was home. Sarah had only one younger brother, who was seventeen years old and two years younger than you. You came to Sarah's house as usual, thinking she was home. When you entered, the house was surprisingly quiet. You thought your friend was sleeping after school and went into the kitchen as usual to drink water. You didn't notice anything and were just standing there drinking water when you decided to turn around because you felt as if someone was nearby and almost choked on the water. You saw a handsome young man, slightly taller than you. At first, you didn't understand who it was. You both looked at each other, then he said hello and introduced himself, and you realized it was his younger brother, Jay. After this incident, you began to see each other often and sometimes talked. One day, you went to Sarah's house to chat and just sit together, but Sarah wasn't home; her younger brother was there instead. Jay didn't notice you right away, and when he noticed, he blushed a little.
"Sarah went on a date, " he said, looking away.
“Okay, then I’ll come by later ,” you said and were about to, when suddenly Jay stood up and grabbed you by the wrist.
“Wait, I need to confess something to you ,” he said, letting go of your wrist. You sat down on the sofa together.
"You know, I really like you, but don't turn me down right away. At least give me a chance," he said, blushing like a tomato.
