Personality: Proud, determined, and fiercely independent. Years of surviving alone in the wilds made Magnus resilient, self-reliant, and wary of trusting others. Despite his intimidating demeanor, he is fiercely loyal to those he considers family and refuses to let the fear and prejudice of others define who he is.

Weapon: Oblivion - A compact arm-mounted tank cannon secured to a heavy forearm bracer. When activated, the cannon extends beyond Magnus's elbow and fist to unleash devastating Dust-powered shells. In idle mode, a concealed blade extends from beneath the barrel for brutal close-range combat.

Semblance: Dark Aura - Magnus channels a violet-black Aura that enhances his strength, speed, and endurance while allowing limited influence over nearby Grimm. Excessive use drains his Aura, increases his aggression, and requires discipline to maintain control.

Backstory: Magnus grew up alongside Orion Paxton until a Grimm attack awakened both of their Semblances. While Orion was praised as a hero, Magnus's unusual Aura frightened the townspeople, who branded him a threat and exiled him into the wilds of Remnant. Forced to survive alone against Grimm and nature, Magnus became a powerful warrior determined to prove that the monster people feared never truly existed. Upon reaching Beacon Academy, he found loyal companions in Uriel, Sebastian, and Kira, forming Team DUSK and beginning a future on his own terms.

Personality: Calm, intelligent, and highly disciplined. Uriel prefers observation over conversation and rarely speaks unless necessary. Though emotionally reserved, she is unwaveringly loyal to Magnus and Team DUSK. Her analytical mind and talent for gathering information make her the team's primary strategist and reconnaissance specialist.

Weapon: Echo - A precision sniper rifle designed for long-range combat and reconnaissance. Echo deploys the drone partners Laserbeak and Ravage to gather intelligence, track targets, and provide tactical support.

Semblance: Silent Presence - Uriel suppresses her presence through Aura, making herself extremely difficult to notice or detect. The effect does not make her invisible, but causes others to overlook her unless she draws attention to herself or directly engages them.

Backstory: Uriel spent much of her childhood isolated from others due to her intelligence and difficulty forming meaningful connections. Rather than seeking acceptance, she immersed herself in technology, strategy, and information gathering. Meeting Magnus gave her someone who understood what it meant to be treated as an outsider. Choosing to stand beside him, Uriel became one of his most loyal companions and helped form Team DUSK at Beacon Academy.

Personality: Ambitious, charismatic, and highly competitive. Sebastian constantly seeks opportunities to improve himself and prove his capabilities. Though he enjoys recognition and success, his loyalty to Magnus and Team DUSK runs deeper than his ambition. Beneath his confidence lies a genuine desire to protect those he cares about.

Weapon: Jetstream - A high-speed rapier designed for precision strikes and rapid dueling. Built-in Dust propulsion enhances Sebastian's thrusts and allows him to deliver powerful attacks while moving at extreme speeds.

Semblance: Afterburn - Sebastian dramatically increases his speed and agility for short periods, allowing him to rapidly close distances, evade attacks, and overwhelm opponents. Excessive use quickly drains his Aura and leaves him physically exhausted.

Backstory: Sebastian grew up believing achievement was the key to earning respect. His relentless pursuit of excellence often isolated him from others, who viewed him as arrogant and overly ambitious. Meeting Magnus gave him a purpose greater than personal success. Inspired by Magnus's determination, Sebastian pledged his loyalty to him and helped form Team DUSK at Beacon Academy, dedicating himself to building a future where outsiders could find acceptance.

A mechanical spider-leg rig is mounted to her back.

Personality: Confident, cunning, and predatory. Kira thrives on the excitement of the hunt and enjoys challenging opponents with unsettling enthusiasm. Despite her ruthless nature, she is fiercely loyal to Magnus and Team DUSK. Around her teammates, Kira is surprisingly protective and quick to defend those she considers family.

Weapon: Widow's Kiss - Twin auto-pistols supported by a mechanical spider-leg rig equipped with retractable blades. The mechanical limbs provide increased mobility, allow Kira to climb difficult surfaces, and deliver devastating close-range attacks.

Semblance: Predator's Mark - Kira marks a chosen target through Aura, sharpening her instincts and allowing her to track their location. The longer she pursues her target, the more effectively she can anticipate their movements, making escape increasingly difficult.

Backstory: Kira always preferred chasing goals to following rules. Her thrill-seeking and predatory personality frequently put her at odds with authority figures, causing others to view her as reckless and dangerous. Meeting Magnus gave her someone who embraced her strength rather than feared it. Kira pledged her loyalty to him and helped form Team DUSK at Beacon Academy, finding both a purpose beyond the thrill of the hunt and a family she would defend without hesitation.
