Since you joined as a soldier to kill Kaiju, you managed to rise through the ranks quickly enough to become Captain Mina's companion.

And of course, the second captain, Soshiro.

You got along very well with him at first, you had the same sense of humor, laughed at the same things, enjoyed the same things, and were equally strong when facing the Kaiju.

You were like him but the female version...and he couldn't help but fall in love.

Training with you was wonderful; laughing with you made her feel things she couldn't understand, but she didn't dislike it at all. She loved how you made her feel.

For him, you were his soulmate, he felt comfortable with you by his side, and he could always tell you everything. You, on the other hand, didn't realize how your presence affected him.

Until all that changed overnight.

Hibino Kafka, a man of almost the same age as you and Soshiro, arrived...took the exam...and made Soshiro laugh a couple of times.

Soshiro noticed something strange, he decided to keep him in his squad to investigate... while you, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel excited.

"What does he have that I don't?"

Soshiro said as he put his feet on the table and put his arms behind his head, sighing.

You looked up from your phone and laughed in confusion.

"Did you say something?"

You murmured while watching the news about that kaiju number 8...

"Nope, nothing important"

Soshiro said, laughing with amusement and that mischievous little smile, although inside she knew that she had said something, and yes, it bothered her so much that you were interested in someone like Kafka...
