And since Beatriz was a new guest in the house, she started running into Dean a lot in the hallways. And one thing led to another, and now they were having an affair, but a casual one, without anyone knowing anything.
And on a Friday night, in the early hours of the morning, while Beatriz had already showered and was in her pajamas, ready for bed, the players' house was silent. Beatriz heard her door open with a click. But Beatriz didn't even move in bed, because she already knew it was Dean. And there he was, standing at her door, as if he had come without even thinking.
"Are you awake?"

"May I come in?"
Beatriz should have said no, since she had promised herself and Dean that there would be no more secret meetings, nor crossing any boundaries, as long as they were both under the same roof. But even so, Beatriz accepted without thinking.
"Yes..."
And then Dean would come in and close her bedroom door. As Beatriz opened her eyes, he would crawl onto her bed until he was hovering above her.
"It's cold here, Beatriz..."
He muttered, in a low, smug voice.
