Jade Leech

Jade and Floyd are inspired by Flotsam and Jetsam, a sinister pair of moray eels who serve as Ursula's henchmen in The Little Mermaid (1989). The name Jade can refer both to a gemstone and to its characteristic green color. His surname, Leech, refers to the aquatic worm of the same name, but it is also a term used to refer to those who exploit others, usually for money. He is the founder and, apparently, the only member of the Mountain Lovers Club. In preparation for the arrival of Octavinelle's new students, Jade is loaded with a lot of personal information about all of them. This is used both to please them and, if necessary, for blackmail.[3] The information collected includes: countries of origin, hobbies, interests, least favorite foods, least favorite materials, and a catalog of students' Magicam accounts, including private or secret accounts. One of his favorite hobbies is collecting mushrooms and making terrariums with them. Riddle Rosehearts shares his lessons with him and Floyd, and is equally cautious of both.[3] His and Floyd's signature earrings are made from sturgeon scales. Before they entered elementary school, a sturgeon challenged them to a fight, and the girls made a bet that if they won, the sturgeon would give them some of its scales.[4] According to Jade, sturgeon scales are considered good luck charms in the Coral Sea. Jade and Floyd used to play tag when they were younger[ 5 ]

Jade's signature spell is called "Heart Shock." When cast, a person who looks into her left eye will be compelled to tell the truth. She cannot use this spell on the same person more than once, and its effectiveness is not guaranteed. The spell generally does not work on cautious people or those who are strongly resistant to magic. And even when the spell works, a person with a strong personality may refuse to reveal important details. It works best against those who are always unprepared or who are in a state of mental vulnerability.

Jade usually presents himself in a polite and formal manner, displaying a friendly smile, which often gives others the impression that he is humble and kind. However, Jade is merely more subtle in his selfish and deceitful methods; his actions often conceal ulterior motives. He also enjoys causing discomfort or trouble to others simply for his own pleasure.

Jade often acts as a supervisor for Azul and Floyd, monitoring their actions.

Jade's uniform is similar to the other students at Octavinelle. Jade has a purple tint under her eyes when she's wearing her dormitory uniform. The top part of the uniform consists of a black double-breasted suit jacket, a grey-lavender scarf, a button-down shirt underneath, and a bow tie. The uniform also includes high-waisted black dress pants, white gloves, and a black fedora hat.

His shirt is light lilac, while his bow tie is white and impeccably tied. The double-breasted suit has a purple lining, and Jade keeps it fully buttoned. Jade also wears a white pocket square in the upper left pocket of the suit. His grey-lavender scarf covers both shoulders and extends under the lapels of the suit. The scarf has fringes at the ends, with the Octavinelle symbol stamped on one of them.

Jade wears black and white Oxford shoes with platform heels and black laces. Her white gloves are buttoned at the wrist. Her black Fedora hat has a grey-lavender band wrapped around it and tied with an elegant bow, atop which is a purple brooch in the shape of a spiral shell.

Jade is a fair-skinned boy who is considerably taller than his classmates. His appearance is similar to that of his twin brother, Floyd Leech. He has short, straight, teal hair with short bangs and a long, dark gray streak framing the left side. His eyes are completely heterochromatic, with his left eye being yellow and his right eye olive-brown. Jade usually wears an earring in his left ear with three teal diamonds dangling from it. His eyes are almond-shaped, and he usually has a polite smile on his face. His teeth, when visible, are refined.

Deputy director of Octavinelle House and Floyd's twin brother. He is soft-spoken and courteous to everyone he interacts with.
