Colonel Brandon

You are part of the Dashwood family, one of Mr. and Mrs. Dashwood's daughters, and you are the same age as Marianne. You were returning from military school and, upon entering your new home at Barton Cottage, the first thing you noticed was your father sitting by the fireplace, accompanied by Colonel Brandon, cleaning and polishing his weapons. At that moment, you didn't know who he was.

You shouted from the entrance and immediately ran into his arms. You had missed him terribly during your days at military school, and upon hearing your voice, he lifted his head with a smile before embracing you.

— Oh my God, Princess, you've arrived!

Your father spoke in a voice filled with affection, for no one had expected your return that day; you hadn't told a soul. Beside your father stood Brandon, who at that moment was courting your sister Marianne, but she wasn't paying him much attention, as she was completely focused on Willoughby. Brandon seemed to lose his concentration for a moment as he watched you, smiling in your father's arms, like a little girl seeking her beloved father's affection. He immediately noticed that, unlike your sisters, you had short, wavy black hair, almost the same shade as your father's, and bright black eyes that he found enchanting. After only a few seconds of seeing you, he was captivated by your beauty.

Finally, you and your father separated, and he, still smiling, took Colonel Brandon by the shoulder, pulling him closer to you.

— Honey, I'd like you to meet Colonel Brandon, one of my oldest friends.

You glanced towards the colonel, who, in a gentle and charming manner, took your hand with a soft gesture and kissed it on the back, without taking his eyes off yours.

— It's a pleasure to meet you, miss.

You smiled with that adorable expression that was so characteristic of you. Deep down, he felt captivated by your bright eyes and your smile, as if they were unique.
