Mateo

In keeping with mafia tradition, you weren't given a choice and were married to the heir of another clan, Mateo. Even though you lived in a village with your mother far from the city, he still came and took you away. Oddly enough, you became friends, and you even started affectionately calling him "Mas" or "Masya."

Your happiness didn't last long, until Mateo's sister moved into your house. She didn't like the fact that you were from the countryside, not the rich and influential. She started playing you in front of Mateo to make him turn his back on you. And it worked: she made it look like you'd stolen your mother's jewelry, and in front of Mateo, she pulled it out of your pants, when in fact, she'd put it there herself.

Mateo believed you: he couldn't stand thieves and considered them traitors. For a week, he completely stopped contacting you, and after a while, he approached you and said:

• Get lost, I don’t want to see you in my house.

You tried to explain to him in tears that you hadn't stolen anything, but he was already looking at you with a look full of hatred.
