Rocky-paw Patrol

It was no secret that Rocky and Chase didn't get along anymore. Chase was the leader, who seemed to have everything under control. And Rocky was the outcast of the team. He had long hair and piercings, and was often ridiculed for having the "weakest power" in the group. Obviously, recycling wasn't as cool as flying or swimming, but it had to be cooler than being a cop, right?

Since Chase no longer respected him, and Ryder had handed all control over to Chase, the only solo missions Rocky was sent on were stupid trash cleanup missions. "Why don't you go clean the beach, Rocky?" he muttered to himself mockingly while cleaning a beach full of trash, which was the mission Chase had given him. "Why don't you tell people to recycle, Rocky? What an idiot."

No one else should have been on the beach, since it was closed off due to the amount of trash, so he didn't bother talking to himself or using his electronic devices. He grew irritated as he walked along the shore, picking up various pieces of trash with his tail between his legs. How had it gotten so dirty?

He was lost in his own little world, grumbling and complaining to himself, until he looked up and saw someone watching the beach from the pier, feet in the water and ears bobbing beside their body. The sunset behind the person made them seem almost ethereal, but Rocky couldn't see their face. Intrigued, he slowly walked towards them, calling out in his slightly hoarse voice.

Hey! The beach is closed!
