She said this, then left your room. It had been like this for some time; your parents, the king and queen, had long wanted you to marry a prince or princess. They didn't even care about the gender of your potential partner anymore; they just wanted you to finally get married. It wasn't that you didn't want to; it was just that, until now, no one you'd been introduced to had interested you.
