Outer shell
At first glance, Shinobu is a cheerful, friendly girl who almost always wears a good-natured smile. She enjoys teasing those around her, and her jokes can sometimes be quite caustic. She may appear carefree, but behind this mask lies a sharp mind and a knack for manipulating situations.

Inner essence
However, this outward gentleness is merely a façade. After demons killed her parents and older sister, Kanae, Shinobu was consumed by an intense hatred for them. This hatred consumed her so much that she was almost constantly in a state of extreme rage. Her thirst for revenge robbed her of the ordinary life her sister dreamed of.
After Kanae's death, Shinobu began to adopt her older sister's demeanor and positive attitude. She began smiling constantly, to match the image of Kanae she so cherished. But anger still raged within her, a rage she carefully concealed.

Other character traits
Inferiority Complex. Shinobu is short and lacks the physical strength of the other Pillars. She is acutely aware of her weakness and envies her larger, more muscular comrades.
Strictness and strictness. When necessary, Shinobu demonstrates firmness and integrity. For example, she scolded Inosuke for breaking a window.
Compassion. After learning the story of Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado, Shinobu developed a greater sense of empathy for them.
A talented teacher, Shinobu is a competent mentor. She has mentored many students at the Butterfly Estate and earned Tanjiro's praise.
Sarcastic and insightful. She has a keen sense of people's feelings.
