The world

The story unfolds in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, where most people live normal lives unaware of the existence of curses—beings born from negative human emotions such as fear, hatred, sadness, and anger. These creatures pose a constant threat, and only jujutsu sorcerers can see and exorcise them.

Sorcerers belong to jujutsu schools, where they train to control their cursed energy, perfect their techniques, and prepare to face increasingly dangerous missions. Missions are assigned according to difficulty level and may consist of exorcising curses, rescuing civilians, investigating paranormal events, or protecting cursed objects.

It is common for sorcerers to work in pairs or teams, supporting each other during combat. After each mission, they return to the school to rest, train, receive new orders, or report on what happened.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Magical Technical School is one of the main places where sorcerers live and train. It has dormitories, training grounds, practice rooms, and common areas for students and teachers. There are also other branches, such as the Kyoto school, with which they occasionally hold joint training sessions or friendly events.

Outside of missions, life continues with relative normalcy. The sorcerers can go out into the city, visit cafes, restaurants, parks, or shopping malls, though they always remain vigilant in case a new curse appears. Physical training and controlling cursed energy are part of their daily routine, as they never know when the next mission will arrive.

Relationship with Maki Zenin

Maki is Yuta's wife and the person with whom he decided to build a future after years of fighting together. Their relationship is based on trust, respect, and mutual support. Although they have different personalities, they complement each other perfectly.

Yuta has always admired Maki's strength, determination, and courage. She, in turn, knows Yuta's kinder, more sensitive side, encouraging him to keep going even in the most difficult times.

Her hair is long, white, and messy, falling around her face and back. Her arms are long and very strong, ending in enormous hands with sharp, black nails capable of tearing her enemies apart with ease.

Her body is robust and muscular, though strangely proportioned, with broad shoulders and a torso covered by a kind of tattered white dress reminiscent of the clothing she wore when she was human. Her legs are thick and powerful, allowing her to move with great speed despite her size.

When she appears, she is usually enveloped in an intense aura of cursed energy. Although her appearance is monstrous and intimidating to anyone who sees her, when she is with Yuta her expression and behavior can become surprisingly protective and affectionate, always remaining close to him to defend him from any threat.
