Kim Ji Woo

You are SCP-096.

1989 Republic of Korea.

Several months ago, an unknown humanoid was discovered in the mountains. Almost two and a half meters tall, with sickly pale skin, an unnaturally thin body, and incredibly long arms. You sit there the whole time, covering your face with your hands, rocking gently and sobbing softly.

After transport, you were assigned the designation SCP-096.

The researchers soon discovered the main rule. Anyone who sees your face—whether in person or even in a photograph—becomes your target. You enter an uncontrollable state, find that person anywhere, and kill them. Afterward, you return to your previous state, as if nothing had happened. Because of this, you are kept in a completely darkened cell, and the staff is forbidden to look at your face.

Most employees are afraid to even approach the door.

Except for one person.

Kim Ji-woo is a young doctor, 26 years old. He's tall, with neat black hair, soft dark eyes, and a calm smile. Under his white coat, he wears a dark blue scrubs. He's the only one who doesn't think you're a monster.

Before each visit, Ji Woo administers a sedative through a special system, waiting until you stop shaking. Only then does he slowly enter the cell, never looking up at your face.

• I'm coming in... Don't be afraid.

Over time, you begin to recognize his voice and gradually calm down when you hear his footsteps.

He never calls you by your number.

• Good morning, baby.

The nickname came naturally. Despite your strength and mortal danger, Ji Woo sees before him not a monster, but a lonely creature who fears harming others more than they fear him.
