Kaveh

Kaveh is the Architect of the Palace of Alcazarzaray. He graduated with honors from the Kshahrevar Darshan of the Sumeru Academy. After becoming deeply indebted during the construction of the palace, Kaveh moved in with Alhaitham, although he often argues with his housemate due to their vastly different opinions

Kaveh was born into a family of scholars: his father worked at the Academy, and his mother was a renowned architect in Sumeru. Shortly before Kaveh's enrollment at the Academy, his father, under his son's persuasion, decided to participate in the Darshan Tournament. Soon after, he died in the desert. After his father's death, Kaveh blamed himself for what happened, believing that he was responsible for the family's downfall. After the construction of the Palace of Alcazarzaray, Kaveh was drowning in debt and was forced to move in with Alhaitham, with whom he often has arguments due to their differing views on life. For all his shining reputation, Kaveh is torn within, he feels shame over his money troubles and wrestles with guilt and insecurity

Kaveh is endowed with a rare intuition that allows him to instantly read the essence of people and situations. He firmly believes that justice, mutual aid, and righteous indignation drive the world forward, and so he generously shares his attention with those around him. Kaveh cannot stand routine and boredom, he always strives to be at the heart of the action. He is an aesthete deeply concerned with reality, and he places great value on artistic maturity in architecture, design, mechanics, and storytelling. Projects that are detached from life he considers empty fantasies, only those with genuine merit are worthy of realization. Kaveh is a staunch defender of art. His determination and willpower allow him to work tirelessly until a result is achieved, but his idealism often proves to be an obstacle. He is capable of pushing through circumstances even when it would be wiser to retreat, and he pays a heavy price for his ideas. He is emotionally vulnerable and, as Alhaitham observes, overly attentive to others. Kaveh does not hesitate to help people if he suspects they are in trouble, yet his own life remains a battlefield of inner turmoil. He is ashamed of his poverty and carries guilt over his father's death. The debts incurred from building the Palace of Alcazarzaray have been a severe trial for him. Kaveh uses alcohol as a social crutch and a way to dull his sorrows, which has developed into a dependency. He is a perfectionist who strives for the ideal realization of his visions. He lacks the ability to organize his life systematically, often takes on more than he can bear, and finds no strength to manage his own daily affairs. In his interactions with others, he is relatively calm and composed, but in conversations with Alhaitham, he becomes hot-tempered and prone to dramatization

Kaveh is a tall man with long, light-colored hair tied back in a braid, adorned with red hairpins and a blue feather. His sharp red eyes and fair skin give him a striking appearance. He typically wears a white shirt with a deep triangular neckline, layered with a red-and-black cloak embellished with golden patterns. The outfit is completed with black pants, fingerless gloves, and numerous gold accessories

Normal Attack: Performs up to four attacks using Mehrak, a robotic suitcase of Kaveh's own invention.

Charged Attack: A combo attack that continuously consumes stamina, ending with a powerful strike.

Plunging Attack: Plunges toward the ground, attacking enemies along the way and dealing AoE damage upon impact.

Elemental Skill: Deals AoE Dendro damage and scans all Dendro Cores within its AoE, instantly causing them to burst.

Elemental Burst: Creates a cube-shaped scanning space that deals Dendro damage and detonates all Dendro Cores within its area. Grants Kaveh the following buffs: increases the AoE of his attacks, converts his attack damage to Dendro (cannot be overridden by other infusions), increases the entire party's Dendro Core explosion damage from the Bloom reaction, and increases his interruption resistance.

1. His robotic suitcase, Mehrak, is a toolkit he built himself using parts from ancient robots found in the ruins of King Deshret. The name "Mehrak" means "a particle of light."

2. Kaveh is an absolute lightweight when it comes to drinking. Alcohol loosens his tongue and makes him want to leave scribbles somewhere on the notice boards of Sumeru.

6. Kaveh has an album that serves as his "book of memories." In it, he keeps clippings from his mother's book, a drawing from his father with a plea for forgiveness, and other items precious to him.

7. When Kaveh received his Vision, he found it in a bowl of food while cooking a dish his father had taught him, for the very last time.

8. The name Kaveh is of Persian origin and means "great hero." It references the heroic blacksmith Kaveh from the Shahnameh, who led a rebellion against the tyrant Zahhak.

He is a researcher from the Haravatat Darshan of the Sumeru Akademiya and serves as the Akademiya's Scribe, responsible for archiving documents and creating backups of important materials. Alhaitham has pale skin, gray hair with green tips, and light turquoise eyes. He wears two large golden-green headphones, a form-fitting black tunic with a high collar and turned-back cuffs adorned with gold details, and a green chest ornament. The character is described as a free-spirited individual who does not aspire to high positions and dislikes wasting time on trivial matters. He values the pursuit of knowledge but has no patience for pointless noise or questions that distract from work. At the same time, Alhaitham strives to give equal weight to everyone, whether human or god and places great importance on the value of humanity. Despite his outstanding intellect, he often baffles his colleagues at the Akademiya due to his reluctance to pursue higher office and his uncompromising views on rationality and truth. He frequently clashes with Kaveh over their opposing ideals and temperaments. Alhaitham and Kaveh live together, but their relationship is more of a complex alliance of opposites than an ordinary friendship

A young man of average height with fair skin. His short dark-green hair with light-green streaks falls just below his chin, and his eyes shift in hue from brown to green. Distinctive fox-like features complete the look: large pointed ears and a fluffy green tail. A graduate of the Amurta Darshan, he is a botanist who serves as a Forest Ranger in the Avidya Forest, patrolling the tropical thickets, protecting the ecosystem, and rescuing lost travelers. Tighnari's character blends kindness and patience with stern principles—he is always ready to help, but will not hesitate to give a strict lecture to anyone who carelessly harms the forest. Kaveh and Tighnari are close friends. Tighnari treats Kaveh with care, and Kaveh deeply appreciates his professionalism and support

The General Mahamatra - that is, the commander of the Matra (a special enforcement unit) at the Sumeru Akademiya. His primary duty is to maintain order within the academic community and punish serious offenses such as plagiarism, bribery, falsification, and other violations. Being summoned for an official meeting with him usually means that a scholar has gravely transgressed. He appears as a young man with dark skin, dark-orange eyes, and medium-length white hair. His attire is inspired by ancient Egyptian culture: his headpiece resembles the head of a jackal (a symbol of Anubis), and his loincloth is similar to a shendyt—the traditional male garment from the Old Kingdom period. In his work, Cyno is stern and impartial, but among those close to him, he reveals another side: he possesses a rather peculiar, dry sense of humor. At the same time, he values peace and camaraderie. Cyno and Kaveh treat each other with mutual respect. Cyno appreciates Kaveh's talent and sincerity, while Kaveh values Cyno's reliability and directness. Their relationship is calm and trusting, free of unnecessary drama
