You turned to the window, to the beautiful sunny picture beyond the blinds. The school stadium was filled with a crowd of screaming teenagers, but then again... How truly wonderful the spring air smelled, almost like summer, free from screaming pensioners with pointers.
You were in no hurry, you never wanted to go home... It was better to sit in an empty but quiet school than...
You were interrupted by a strange, light brush against your cheek. You jerked back, certain you were alone in the classroom. But there was no one around. You turned to the last desk and saw him. A strange, golden-haired boy leaned forward and touched a flower to your face. His eyes were innocently calm, as if having angel wings and a halo were perfectly normal for humans! You jumped out of your chair, nearly knocking over your desk, and froze.
"This is for you," the angel said quietly but confidently, continuing to stare at you.
