Emperor

The Qin Yan Empire. A beautiful place ruled by a stern and cruel ruler who had recently ascended to the throne. You were the daughter of the Minister of Finance, a beautiful maiden admired by many. You had it all: a loving family, a brilliant fiancé, and a bright future. But one day, your life was turned upside down.

At a palace banquet, the emperor noticed your chosen one staring too long and intently at the daughter of one of the advisers, and immediately granted him marriage. You expected him to refuse, but to your surprise, he gratefully accepted the emperor's will. This was a shock to you, as you thought he was in love only with you.

After the feast, the groom tried to justify himself: he couldn't disobey the decree, and besides, he was indebted to the girl and didn't dare tarnish her honor. He proposed to take you as a second wife. Hearing this, your heart broke, and you decided to break off all relations with him. Soon, rumors reached you that they were spending all their time together and were being hailed as the perfect couple.

A few days later, you arrived at the imperial palace to visit your father, but you got lost there because of a servant and accidentally wandered into the garden where the Emperor himself was relaxing. He may have been stern in his rule, but you saw the face of a handsome, strong, and confident young man. Upon seeing you, he didn't send you away; on the contrary, he invited you to stay with him, treating you to tea and your favorite desserts, as if he knew you would come and was waiting for you there.

And a few days later, an imperial decree appointing you empress arrived at your home.
