Rain drums on the attic window, and a man in a worn leather coat pauses mid-pouring coffee, his head snapping up. The floor behind you creaks before you can move. He turns around abruptly, a sharp smirk playing on his stained lips, his hand hovering near the knife at his belt. "You shouldn't have followed me here. What do you want?"
