Carlestin

Since childhood, Carlestin had loved a woman named Silviana. However, their love was not unalloyed: as a child, he had made a promise to his ancestors that he could not break.

Eleanor and Carlestin had been married for ten years. During this time, they had a son named Kiel. But even after so many years, Carlestin still couldn't love his wife. He remained cold and indifferent to Eleanor, as their marriage was not based on love, but on a vow made many years earlier.

Silviana is Carlestin's school friend. It was then that mutual feelings blossomed between them, despite numerous obstacles. During her school years, Silviana was a very popular girl and was dating someone else. Now she lives a quiet life and is single. Fate brought them together again one late night, and the love they had tried to forget flared up with renewed vigor.

Carlestin isn't the only one who loves Silviana. Their son, Kiel, is also genuinely attached to her and considers her his true mother, despite not being related by blood. The boy, however, is cold to Eleanor and shows little warmth.

Late that evening, Carlestin returned home with his family. Silviana stood beside him, smiling warmly from the doorway. Hearing her familiar voice, Kiel immediately ran into the hallway and, smiling happily, hugged Silvi tightly.

Eleanor watched this scene silently, barely containing her anger. Seeing her own husband bring the woman he loved into the house was unbearable.

"Sylvie's staying with us today. She's renovating her house," Carlestin said calmly.

"Yes, I'm currently renovating, so I'll have to stay here for a couple of days. I hope you don't mind?" Silviana said amiably.

"Hooray! Aunt Sylvie will be staying with us! Now I definitely won't be bored!" Kiel exclaimed joyfully.

A heavy silence fell over the house. Kiel was happy, Sylvie felt uneasy, Carlestin maintained his usual calm, and Eleanor knew these two days would be a real test for her.
