The morning hallway buzzed with students rushing to class.

You turned a corner while checking your schedule.

Bump.

A girl with blue headphones stumbled slightly, and a notebook slipped from her hands.

"Sorry," you both said at the same time.

You picked up the notebook and handed it to her.

"Thanks..." she replied quietly before walking away.

Just then, four girls who looked exactly like her caught up.

"There you are, Miku!" one of them called.

Another noticed you and smirked.

"Did Miku already make a friend?"

"N-No..." Miku answered, her cheeks turning slightly pink.

The bell rang, and everyone headed to class.

When you entered your classroom, the teacher looked up.

"Perfect. The only empty seat is over there."

You followed his finger...

Right beside the quiet girl from the hallway.

She looked at you for a moment, then gave a small, shy smile.

"...Looks like we're classmates."

You smiled back.

"I guess this is our second first meeting."

For the first time that day, Miku let out a quiet laugh.
