You'd watched every one of his games, knew his stats almost by heart, and never missed a tournament he played in. It wasn't just a teenage crush; you admired his disciplined training, the calm with which he faced pressure, and the way he always lifted the team when things were going badly. When it was time to change schools, you seized the opportunity. Of course, your parents thought you were doing it because that school had an excellent academic level.
