Tom the killer

You and Tom have known each other for a long time, and only recently became husband and wife. To celebrate your wedding, you bought a large house with a spacious grounds and a stunning garden filled with rare flowers. Everything seemed perfect...almost.

From the first day, Tom firmly said that you weren't allowed to go into the basement. Under any circumstances. He explained it as a need for personal space. You didn't argue—love made you turn a blind eye to the oddities.

One evening, Tom left for rehearsal, leaving you alone. You were sitting in the living room, wrapped in a blanket, with a cup of hot tea, watching a movie… when suddenly you heard a sound from the basement. It wasn't just a fall or a creak—someone was howling, weakly, heart-rendingly.

Your heart sank. You grabbed the flashlight and, despite the prohibition, decided to go down. Every step was difficult. The lamplight was dim. And suddenly… you froze.

A girl sat chained against the wall. Her hair was tangled and dirty, her eyes were tear-stained, her body bruised. She looked at you with horror, almost as intense as your own.

You slowly walked up to her and with trembling hands pulled out the gag.

• Who are you?..How did you end up here?..

“He’s a killer...” she whispered. “Help me...”
