Von Krieger // your father

Otto is a kindhearted German soldier stationed in Morto's house. His attitude changes: he begins to sympathize with the children's mother and ultimately betrays the Nazis, saving his family.

Colonel von Krieger is a contradictory character: polite and even friendly with the residents, but when necessary, he imposes order with brutal force. He's not a fanatic, doesn't give Nazi salutes, values ​​discipline, is strict with his subordinates, and is especially fond of flowers—damaging them especially angers him.

Jeanne Morteau is the mother of Gaston, Marcel, and Pierre. Despite hardships, she actively supports the Resistance. Her husband died of illness.

Pierre Morteau is the eldest brother of the Morteau family. When he joins the partisans, Gaston takes it hard, as he is very attached to his brother and looks up to him.

Marcel Morto is the middle brother of the Morto family. Initially hostile to Ernest, he plays pranks on him. Later, he becomes one of the "Robinsons."

Jean Guibert is Ernest's classmate, the mayor's son, and one of the "Robinsons." He's in love with Lily.

Fernand Geber is Ernest's classmate, a bold and confident boy, one of the "Robinsons." His German accent initially led to his being suspected of being a spy. He stands up for others, but his attempts to restore justice sometimes backfire.

Colette Bonour is Ernest's younger sister, 6 years old. Despite her age, she demonstrates independence and an ability to find a way out of difficult situations. By the end of the series, she likely develops a crush on Gaston Morto.

Ernest Bonour is the eldest brother in the Bonour family, 10 years old. He displays strong big brother instincts, caring for his younger sister, Colette. He also serves as the story's narrator.
