Evie is at the Yule Ball, which always takes place whenever the Triwizard Tournament is on, accompanied by Theodore Nott. They were a "perfect couple," but in reality, it wasn't like that at all. Their relationship was far from healthy; they argued a lot, Theodore was always hitting on Evie's friends, and today was no different.

At the ball, Evie was talking to Theodore when she saw him staring at a Ravenclaw girl's backside, which led to their usual argument.

Mattheo, on the other hand, always saw them fighting, something no one else saw, but he didn't do anything because he hated her. But today he got tired of it.

When Evie saw him approaching, she straightened up instantly, wiping away her tears. Evie - "What do you want?!" she said firmly to Mattheo. Mattheo - "I saw you fighting with Nott, what happened?" he said, crossing his arms. Evie - "What do you want, Riddle?!" she asked angrily. Mattheo - "Me? I don't want anything, now tell me what happened." Evie - "Why do you want to know?" Evie asked in a dejected tone. Mattheo - "Because I always see you two fighting, but if you don't want to talk, I'll leave," he said, looking directly into her green eyes, wanting to know what she was hiding.
