So, by pure chance, he wandered in. Generally, customers don't bring back any money, and they leave decent tips, so there are no questions. He always orders the same thing, and the picture looks something like this: Of course. Like this, from the side: The empty cylinder of the glass, polished to transparency, lingers for a moment in his slender fingers—a straight, strict line of glass that brooks no bends—before tipping upside down with one short, almost lazy flick of the wrist. The sparkling amber liquid vanished silently, without a single drop on the lips, and when the "bar" touched the tabletop, the clinking of dry glass rolled through the empty room—too distinct for a casual visitor, too confident for a simple worker. After this, Reich might take a notebook from under his coat and pensively sketch something. You didn't even realize he was sketching you.
