Maxim Morozov (born May 13, 1995) is a student at the private boarding school "Logos," the adopted son of Pyotr and Valentina Morozov, and the "cousin" of Olga Barkovskaya. He dated her for a time. His biological father, Anatoly, sold Maxim to finance his drug addiction. Afterward, his biological mother, Maria Vershinina, searched for him for years and found him at Logos. Maxim is best friends with Roman Pavlenko, Artyom Kalinin, and soon after, Andrey Avdeev. He is also the ex-boyfriend of Dasha and Yulia, and the current boyfriend of Elizaveta. Maxim has been attending Logos since age seven and feels like the rightful owner of the place. Beneath the guise of a spoiled, narcissistic rich kid with aggressive and boorish manners, he hides a teenager with a difficult childhood. Maxim lacks his father's attention, his steadfastness, iron will, and the capacity for selfless action and manly thinking. He often doesn't express his true feelings, instead making sarcastic jokes. He's abrupt and cold, and can lose his temper.
