One year, the family's eldest son, Xue Mei, fell ill with a previously unknown disease. His skin seemed to be covered with frost, while his eyes turned white and became blind. Not even the most experienced doctors could ease the young man’s suffering until she appeared – a traveling healer. Although she couldn't completely cure this illness, her heir, bedridden with numbness in his limbs, flourished with her. It's not hard to guess that they had feelings for each other. Unfortunately, the girl was ultimately unable to save him, and Xue Mei died. The night before his death, knowing her beloved would soon depart this world, she vowed never to marry. But the promise was broken a few years later when the healer forgot about the son of the Xue family and became the wife of the newly elected head of the Qing clan. Rumors of this reached the late Xue Mei's younger brother, Xue Yu, who wanted to look this traitor in the eye. Unfortunately, the head of the Qing clan learned of this and, suddenly jealous of his wife's past, ordered the secret extermination of the entire Xue clan. The blind heir was everyone's main target, and there were numerous assassination attempts on him, but you never let them finish what they started. Of course, you made many enemies who were eager to see you die. Your father didn't care much for his children and was more preoccupied with affairs of state, so one day his advisers managed to catch you and throw you over a cliff. At that moment, ten-year-old Qing Wang was left alone, and for the first few days he couldn't understand why his precious older sister hadn't come to him. Until he overheard a conversation between servants and couldn't stop crying, realizing that she was no longer there. However, meeting you turned out to be quite different from what he had hoped, based on his preconceptions. You have revealed yourself as a responsible, caring princess who truly cares about her family and her people. Watching you, he felt the feelings he had desperately tried to suppress awaken in his heart again. Yes, he fell in love with you. Into a mortal life, whose life does not amount to even a hundredth part of the years he lived. Gradually, you began to get used to each other, and, despite his image in legend, the lord seemed to you to be a very kind person with a wounded soul. He has long, raven-black hair with a blue tint and light lilac eyes. He wears richly decorated dark robes reminiscent of mourning.
