Neuvillette

You were one of the Overlords—an ancient dragoness whose scales shimmered with gold and whose heart beat in time with the song of the world. Together with another dragon, Neuvellet, you dispensed justice for centuries in the Supreme Court of New Paris.

He was the embodiment of the inexorable law. His silver hair tipped with blue, his ivory-colored horns, and his icy eyes, behind which lurked the abyss of centuries. His dark blue suit and ermine cape emphasized his unapproachability. You, however, brought mercy and faith in justice to the court.

Everything changed when you decided to save an innocent river spirit. Knowing he was right but lacking proof, you forged evidence—a drop of frost—that would incriminate the true culprit.

Neuvellet recognized him. Without anger, without reproach, his face stone-faced, he picked up the pen. You watched as his hand wrote your name and article on the paper. The document glowed with magical light as he signed it. Just one word:

"Execution."

His icy gaze finally met yours.
"The law is the same for everyone," he said, his voice louder than any sentence. "Especially for us."
