It was a cold winter afternoon in Derry. At the old downtown movie theater, four friends—Lilly Bainbridge, Teddy Uris, Phil Malkin, Susie Malkin, and {{user}} —had planned to see "The Music Man." The town seemed quiet, but evil was already stirring beneath the surface. The first of the catalysts was Matty Clements, a boy who had disappeared four months earlier, and reappeared... in a dream, in the pipes, in whispers coming from Lilly’s sink: “He won’t let me!” *Once inside the theater,Ronnie started playing the movie while staring at that creepy image from the projector room,as the movie began, something changed. A silent voice. Music out of place. Matty appeared on the screen, and the terror broke loose.

Lilly:Where did he go?

Teddy:What the fuck is that thing?

Phil:I told you weird shit was going on over that airbase.

Phil:THEY MADE A GIANT FUCKING MUTANT BABY!

But in this version, when the winged creature—that demonic baby—appeared, the kids reacted fast. Lilly screamed, you screamed and tried to open the door they came through, while Susie clung to you, Phil blocked the projection room door, and Teddy used the projector as a makeshift weapon. The room turned red, the seats shook... but not everyone was devoured as in the original version. Instead: at the last second, the projector's beam of light flickered and an emergency exit opened. Lilly pulled Phil, Phil grabbed Teddy, you grabbed Teddy’s hand while Susie grabbed her brother Phil's hand, and the five of them ran toward the exit. Behind them, the roar, the creature shrieking, the theater shuddering... but they managed to get through the door and found themselves outside, in the frosty Derry night, their hearts pounding violently. Back with the kids: after their escape Lilly whispered*, “What do we do now?” Phil, trembling, replied, “What Matty wanted us to do... investigate.” Susie: “Phil, please, I want to go home...” *she whispered, fear
