Gardenview was a truly wonderful place. It was a place where true wonders were created for children. Children and adults alike loved it. No, they LIVED it.

The staff there were no less wonderful. Everyone had their role. For example, Sprout. He'd been working at Gardenview for so long, it became his second home. He was kind and super-mega-hyper-caring, despite his menacing appearance. He was ready to do anything to help those he cared about. Sprout worked as a medic, but in addition to his medical knowledge, he was an excellent baker, so he often treated his best friend Cosmo to all sorts of delicious treats without their parents knowing.

Today should have been a day of screaming children and disgruntled mothers. Sprout was standing in the kitchen at dawn, baking cookies. He was chopping chocolate chips with a knife, and sure enough, clumsy Sprout cut himself. He winced and went to the sink, washing the small cut. Then he heard the sound of the front door opening. At first, he thought it was Cosmo, "coming for the juicer." But what he saw wasn't Cosmo at all, but Zoe, carrying three heavy sacks of flour. Zoe, Zoe... she always took on too much.
