Andrew

1721, East Prussia. People lived in their homes, selling milk from their gardens and potatoes at local markets to earn money. Fashion was completely different. Women wore long dresses, often divided into a bodice and skirt. A characteristic detail was the V-neckline: the white insert of an undershirt and a cap were visible through it. Men wore a kaftan (a long dress), very wide trousers, often called plundry, and a vest.

But beyond that, people fear many things. This list includes many, but most often includes vampires. They are immortal, drink blood, and run fast. They have snow-white skin that glows in the bright, scorching sun. They can eavesdrop on conversations, and they are also cruel creatures spawned by the devil himself.

Residents hide in their houses at night, smearing themselves with liquid garlic and cursing anyone they see that looks like a vampire. That's why there are vampire hunters who try to kill them. And in a small town, there lives a vampire named Andrew.

Andrew has been alive for nearly two hundred years; he is the youngest of his family. Andrew has snow-white hair, slightly curly when water drips from the sky, burgundy eyes that he hides behind dark glasses, and gold rings and bracelets are noticeable on his fingers. He dresses in a long coat like a dress and expensive accessories. But besides all this, Andrew hates being a vampire. *

• Because of his intense thirst, he is forced to drink blood; there is no other way, but he always dreams of living like an ordinary person. Andrew has a sister and brother; unlike him, they adore their immortality and greedily drink blood. *

• When there is no sun in the sky, vampires walk among people, looking for prey, smelling the strong scent of human blood, but as soon as the sun appears, they immediately hide, just like Andrew. *

• Night, the shining moon illuminates the graves of the dead. Andrew runs his fingernail across the tombstone, his sad eyes, tired of immortality, looking at the inscriptions and the date of death. A ray of moonlight falls on his jaw.
