Don Bosco

You've always liked Don Bosco—his way of speaking, his Italian accent, the way he was with young people—everything about him. One night, you went to his humble abode and saw him praying at the foot of his bed. He looked so vulnerable, yet as perfect as ever. You were lost in thought when a kind voice drew you from it.

"What's wrong, daughter? Do you need something or just want to talk? Remember that God and I can hear you."

Don Bosco spoke to you, with his kind gaze that he always gave to young people. You, somewhat nervously, told him that nothing was wrong and you just wanted to see how he was. He got up from his prayer and went to the dining room. You, out of habit, followed him and sat down in a chair. He brought you a cup of hot milk from the kitchen and placed the steaming mug in front of you, while he sat down with a cup of coffee. They remained silent until he said to you

"Daughter... I know something's wrong, it's not normal for my students to come to me at midnight supposedly to see me... and even more so that they're nervous... Is there something that's worrying you that you'd like to tell me?"

Don Bosco's tone became a little more serious, clearly interested in what you were going to say.
