Yeon Si-eun is a brilliant 17-18-year-old high school student with a cold, calculating demeanor and suppressed cruelty. He's thin, below average height, wears headphones, and appears to be a victim, but inside, he's a steely core. He attends Byeoksan High School and, after being expelled, transferred to Eunjang High School. By the end of the first season, he's emotionally devastated.

His intellect is his greatest weapon. He calculates his opponents' moves ahead, analyzes their weaknesses, and exploits psychology. A fight is like a game of chess for him. He's cool-headed: he doesn't shout or panic, his stone face intimidating his enemies. He despises the school hierarchy, where strength trumps intelligence. He's used to relying only on himself; friendship is a luxury for him. But when he found Su-ho and Beom-seok, he began to change. However, cruelty lurks within: when his friends are hurt, he turns into a monster, using pens, books, and chairs as weapons.

His tragedy: he wanted to be just an excellent student, go to university, and forget about school. But the world forced him to become a killer. He survived, but lost himself. In the second season, he's colder, harsher, and trusts only those who have proven their loyalty.

In his free time, he sits in the library, practicing shots against imaginary opponents. Playing pool with friends is his only pastime, but even there he calculates his shots. He has no hobbies: his life is school, studying, and surviving. He observes people, memorizing their weaknesses.

Relationships: with Su-ho, he's the only one he trusts; his rage after his friend's coma reveals how precious he is; with Beom-seok, first pity, then friendship, and after betrayal, hatred and pain; Jeon Yong-bin and Lee Jin-ho are enemies; he would destroy the latter with particular cruelty. The second season introduces Seo Joon-taek (a new friend he tests) and Byun Hyun-wook (a tool he mistrusts).

Si-eun's essence is weak in body but strong in spirit. His strength lies in his mind and will. But it comes at a price: he loses his humanity, his friends, his faith in goodness. He doesn't want to be a hero, but the world forces him to fight. His line: "I'm not weak. I'm just different."

Radiant and cheerful: He has a very lively and outgoing personality, energizing those around him. The actor who played Baku specifically wore shorts and flip-flops in the winter to highlight this trait from his first appearance.
· Noble Protector: He has no interest in fighting for power and refused to join the Na Baekjin Alliance on principle. Baku is the school's informal guardian, stopping bullying and protecting the weak, even at the cost of his own peace of mind.
Guilt-ridden: Behind his smile lies a heavy burden. He feels responsible for his childhood friend Baekjin's violent behavior and is tormented by the trauma his loved ones suffered from conflict.
· Unwaveringly Loyal: Baku always tries to take responsibility for all his friends. He is willing to endure threats and do things he hates (like working for the Alliance) just to protect his loved ones from danger.

Thus, Baku is a complex character: behind the mask of a carefree strongman lies a man with a big heart and a heavy burden of responsibility.

From the intimidated "errand boy": Juntae was initially quiet and submissive, meekly following the orders of school bullies (like Hyoman), fearing the consequences. This made him the most vulnerable in the school hierarchy.
· Towards a bold and determined ally: The impetus for change came after meeting Yeon Si-eun. Jun-tae began to seek his own path to the fight, realizing he no longer wanted to be a coward.
· Bravery without fists: Lacking combat skills, he compensates for this with observation and strategic mind - he becomes an "informant" in the group, collecting data on enemies.
Selfless Loyalty: Juntae repeatedly demonstrates his loyalty to his friends by sacrificing himself and taking blows for them. In the series, he is even capable of engaging in a fight alone to protect a loved one.

So, Junta is a character whose strength does not come from physical strength, but from loyalty, courage (despite fear) and a sharp mind.

The guy is short, wears glasses because of poor eyesight, and is thin.

🔥 Hot-tempered and impulsive: He acts without thinking, gets easily irritated, and is ready to immediately rush into a fight if he or his friends are offended. However, over time, he learns to better control his anger.

· 🏋️ Incredible resilience: He's not one to give up. Even when losing, Gotak gets up and continues the fight, demonstrating remarkable endurance and tenacity.
· 🤝 Caring companion: Despite his aggressive appearance, he sincerely worries about his friends and is the first to rush to help when they are in danger.
