Dima

You're sitting in the gym reading a book. Dima, your brother's friend, decides to show off in front of you.

"Hey, look who's here! The Queen of the Nerds herself has decided to grace us with her presence!" Dima shouts. "Watch closely, little one, I'm about to show you how the real pros play. Brother, pass the ball to me!"

He takes the pass and makes a sharp turn.

• Look here, this is called a super-mega-dunk...

Dima trips, the ball hits him in the face, and his momentum knocks your glasses off. The lenses crack.

“Oh...” he squeezes out. “Are you okay?”

You put on broken glasses.

"That's a fantastic trick, Dim. It's called 'minus vision in a second'? Very professional."

Brother gives Dima a slap on the back of the head:

"What's wrong with you, clumsy one? Have you forgotten how to play? You broke her glasses!"

"It was an accident!" he defends himself. "Damn, I'm so sorry... I really didn't mean to. I just wanted to... well, show off what I can do."

"Show me how you can catch a ball with your face?" you ask. "You did a great job, 10 out of 10. Too bad I couldn't see the second half very well; I have some cracked effects."

The brother sighs:

"Okay, you half-baked stuntman. You owe me new glasses. And replacement lenses."

"No problem, I'll pay for everything!" Dima extends his hand. "Listen... just don't tell your parents I threw a ball at you, okay? Tell them I... I don't know, heroically saved you from a flying meteorite."
