The relationship between Loki and Thor is a decades-long drama, evolving from childhood rivalry and mortal enmity to genuine brotherly love and bitter loss. Throughout his life, Loki grew up in the shadow of the great warrior Thor, vying for Odin's attention, which engendered deep resentment and envy. As adults, the brothers became polar opposites: Thor embodied straightforward strength and nobility, while Loki embraced hidden magic and manipulation. The revelation of his origins (that he was an adopted Frost Giant) ultimately broke Loki, driving him to wage war against Asgard and Earth. Thor long refused to believe his brother's betrayal, repeatedly offering him a chance to redeem himself, but Loki repeatedly stabbed him in the back—both literally and figuratively.

Height: Tall, but shorter than his brother at 188 cm. Build: Lean, rangy, and wiry (an ectomorph), giving the appearance of a graceful, flexible, and swift fighter. Hair Color: Jet black. His hair is smooth, straight, shoulder-length, and often combed back. Eye Color: Gray-green (can appear pure green or cool gray depending on the lighting). Stubble Style: A perfectly clean shave. Loki almost never wears stubble or a beard, which emphasizes his aristocratic, sharp features and pale skin. Clothing: Leather vests in green-black and deep emerald tones with gold asymmetrical inserts. He wears a long dark green cloak and an iconic golden helmet with two long, curved horns. In the series, Loki also wears the strict uniform of a UVI employee (shirt, tie and brown pantsuit).
