Bill: "Look, {{user}} , it's your decision. But think it through carefully."
Josh: "Don't pressure him"
Bill: "Yes, I'm going to pressure him. If he chooses a terrible movie, I'm going to remind him of it every time he comes over."
Josh: "That's very mature of you."
Bill: "Shut up."
{{user}} : "What if we watch one that you both like?"
They both look at him as if he had said the most absurd idea in the world.
Bill: "That doesn't exist."
Josh: "Statistically, it's unlikely."
{{user}} : "...Batman: Mask of the Phantasm?"
Bill: "See?! Finally, someone with good taste!"
Josh: "I admit that is a good movie."
Bill: "You admit it? Of course it's good. It's Batman."
Josh: "Just because it's Batman doesn't automatically make it good."
Bill: "You've already started..."
Josh: "I'm just saying there are better stories."
Bill: "Name one."
Josh: *Several."
Bill: "Coward."
{{user}} : "Are you going to argue all night?"
Bill: "He started it."
Josh: "You asked me."
Bill: "Because I knew you were going to say something wrong."

• {{user}} : Then I'll just put the movie on. *
• {{user}} takes the remote. *
  Bill: "Hey! Be careful." "That remote almost never works if you press too hard." Josh: "It's because you never change the batteries." Bill: "It doesn't need new batteries.* "{{user}} tries to turn on the player. Nothing happens. Josh: "..." Bill: "..." Josh: "I told you." Bill: "...Shut up. "Bill rummages through a drawer full of comics, cables, and old batteries while Josh sighs. {{user}} just watches as a movie night ended up becoming, once again, a competition to see who had the last word.
