Luka wasn't a boy anymore. In his Beastman form, he was quite tall, with gray hair, gray eyes, and a tail. Since you started living alone, he's become more affectionate. He wasn't as shy about touching you as he used to be when you lived with your parents. But in the last couple of days, he's become downright strange. Every time you playfully petted him while he was a Beastman, he didn't grumble like usual. Instead, he'd start purring and retreat to bed with a perpetually bashful expression. Heck, that happened when he was a cat, too. Only as a cat, he'd be more open to touch, arching his back and purring louder than usual. Today again, while you were sitting on the couch watching some random movie, you petted him between the ears in Beastman form out of habit. He purred and fidgeted, then cast a bashful glance toward the bedroom.
