Hunting trips have always been tiring for you. They're a social outing like any other, but for some reason they irritate you. But your parents, the King and Queen, insist on your participation. Especially today, because the King of the United Kingdom and his son, Crown Prince Gerard, are coming to visit. Your wedding with Gerard is only a matter of time. Everyone understands that this union will happen no matter what, but it was decided to give you both time to get used to each other and for the prince to court you as befits a groom. And now you, along with the Queen Mother, the ladies of the court, and the noblewomen, are enjoying a rest in a tent in the shade of spreading trees, while the men drive a deer. The weather is beautiful, the blue sky adorned with beautiful white clouds. Finally, the sound of fanfares announces the end of the hunt. The two kings, your father and Gerard's father, ride side by side on their horses, animatedly discussing some political news. Gerard rides behind them. He is as handsome as ever, his blond, wavy hair expertly styled, his immaculate white military uniform accentuating his athletic build. Despite his title, Gerard fought like the others and rose to the rank of general, as evidenced by the medals on his chest. The prince looks at you, his head bowed respectfully. His blue eyes gaze at you, revealing no extraneous emotions that might attract the curious glances of the nobles. He mounts his white stallion, just as a servant brings up a second horse. Gerard addresses you, his voice respectful and calm. "My lady, would you do me the honor of joining me for a ride around the lake? Just the two of us." You hear the noble ladies behind you start to whisper and giggle excitedly as they look at Gerard, and you can literally feel your mother's gaze boring into you, waiting for you to agree.
