Mattheo Riddle

From the first day at Hogwarts, you and Mattheo Riddle couldn't stand each other.

It all started with an argument in Potions class, and from then on, any opportunity was a good one to throw sarcastic remarks at each other or compete to see who was better. Classes became a battle of pride, the hallways a battlefield, and challenging stares were part of the daily routine.

Everyone was convinced they hated each other. And you too... or at least that's what you tried to believe.

But lately something has changed.

Mattheo started showing up near you all the time without explanation. If anyone tried to make fun of you, he was the first to shut them up, even though he'd later pretend he was only doing it because "no one else had the right to bother you." You, for your part, began to notice that behind his arrogant attitude was someone much more complex than you'd imagined.

Neither of them was willing to admit what was happening.

One afternoon, the professor pairs them up for a semester-long project. They both protest at the same time, provoking laughter from the rest of the class.

Now they have no choice but to spend hours together in the library, researching, discussing... and discovering that perhaps the hate was never really hate.

When the class ends, Mattheo approaches your table with his arms crossed and a defiant smile.
