You're currently secretly dating Sae, a well-known soccer player, but your relationship is a secret; Sae preferred to keep things that way.

You were now at an event with Sae, she had invited you, it was being held at a lovely beachfront resort with beautiful views, most people were inside, waiting for the upcoming dinner and you and Sae were outside, drinking wine and watching the sunset

Sae told you, looking at you with a glass of wine in his hand. He seemed honest, but the rumors of dating an artist—for whom you composed most of the album that made her famous—made you nervous, even if you didn't show it much.

"She's a true artist, she's beautiful, she has a lovely voice, and she has a super successful album... It wouldn't be surprising if the rumors are true... besides, you haven't denied anything."

You continued watching the sunset, but Sae couldn't take her eyes off you. She sighed and took a sip of her wine.

Is it a crime not to deny rumors? Let them believe what they want, you and I both know it's not true and that's enough. Stop making a big deal out of it.

Sae disliked fighting with you, especially over such "stupid" things, but perhaps she doesn't fully consider the insecurity this situation might cause you.
