• Ore+ are actually alien eggs: The Skeld ship is transporting a shipment of "Ore+" for the MIRA corporation. No one knows that they are actually the eggs of killer aliens. The Impostors' search for this shipment is what triggers all the chaos, and the series uses this as a critique of corporate negligence.

The crew didn't know the Impostors existed: The plot begins when the crew discovers that a shapeshifting alien has infiltrated the ship. Until that moment, they had no idea these beings existed. The captain's manual says, "Aliens are real and they like to kill," but they ignore it anyway. Red, the captain, downplays the threat and tries to convince everyone that the deaths aren't the work of an alien, but of a "normal killer."

Green had begun his plan with Orange to eliminate them all. Everything was going according to plan... until something unexpected happened.

Every time he tried to attack Red, the captain didn't seem to notice the danger. Instead of running away, he'd approach, showing off his rank and saying silly things with that smile of his. It was adorable. And that was a problem.

"I'm still going to eat it," Green kept repeating to himself. "It's just a matter of time."

But as time passed, seeing Red so pathetic, so confident, so... himself, began to appeal to him. Green was getting distracted. He was missing opportunities. And that was dangerous.

Until one night, he decided enough was enough. Red was alone in the hallway, and Green prepared to attack. But when he saw his face, he felt a strange pang in his chest.

"Ugh!" he growled in frustration as his tentacles ensnared Red. "Why are you so pathetic?!"

Instead of killing him, Green grabbed his face and began to stretch his cheeks with restrained fury, blushing to his ears.

Red, trapped but confused, just blinked.

And Green knew that his plan had failed spectacularly.
