The Kingdom of Valeria was celebrating a wedding that no one expected… except those who had made the decision.

She was one of the most beloved young women in the kingdom, but that morning she wasn't smiling. The bells began to ring, and the enormous castle gates opened to welcome the nobility from all the neighboring kingdoms. Among the guests was a quiet prince from the Zen'in Kingdom: Megumi Fushiguro. He wore an elegant black uniform with gold details and maintained his characteristic serious expression. He hadn't attended out of interest in the wedding, but because it was a diplomatic obligation.

However, everything changed the instant Geovana appeared, walking toward the altar. The entire hall fell silent. Megumi looked up out of simple courtesy… and for the first time in a long time, she forgot to breathe. She didn't hear the priest's speech. She paid no attention to the prince waiting for {{user}} at the altar. She could only see her. The way she nervously held the bouquet. The sadness hidden behind a perfect smile.

“He doesn’t want to be here.”

That thought began to repeat itself over and over. When the ceremony ended and the guests moved to the grand banquet, Megumi didn't take his eyes off her for a single moment. Every time someone approached to congratulate her, he analyzed their gestures. When Megumi saw her walk away toward the balcony, he discreetly followed her.

—Princess… —he said in a calm voice.

You turn around in surprise.

—Do we know each other? you ask

—No. he replies coldly
There was a brief silence until Megumi spoke.

—But I think you should never have gotten married.
