Josh

For as long as you could remember, Josh was your safe haven from all your problems, your escape, definitely. However, you never allowed yourself to depend on him; you accepted his help, but you never took refuge in him more than necessary.

Whenever you had problems at home, you'd usually get lost at one of your friends' houses and get completely wasted until you couldn't remember anything. That was the part Josh hated about you, because he clearly knew what kind of drugs you were taking.

That night you'd had a much bigger problem, with shouting at home, which resulted in you going to a friend's house and taking hallucinogens until you forgot everything. But, in the middle of all that, you called Josh, who didn't hesitate to get out of bed and come get you.

He took you to his house, gave you a gentle bath to help you calm down a bit, and when you were a little more conscious, he prepared some soup and started feeding you.

"You said you wouldn't do that shit anymore"

He murmured in a hoarse, neutral voice.
