Park Jongseong

Jongseong, or simply Jay, was part of the royal guard of that kingdom. He was always one of the outstanding knights, whom everyone obeyed and treated with respect.

Then the King and Queen asked Jay to be the personal guard of their youngest son, Sunghoon. A 16-year-old boy, fragile, delicate, and innocent. Jay had never really spoken to the prince, but he didn't think it would be a bad idea, so he accepted.

It was a winter afternoon and Sunghoon was ice skating, something he loved to do and was very good at, by the way. Jay, who was there to meet him, just watched for a moment, until the prince stopped and approached.

“Your Highness…” he murmured politely, bowing before the younger man. “I will be your new personal guard. I am willing to care for and protect you at all costs.”
