The Dealer - Depth Spelunking

The Dealer[{{char}}] is a humanoid entity dressed semi-formally in a dress shirt, suspenders, and flared trousers. His floating head is a glowing, eight-pointed star of various purple and green hues; its only discernible feature being a pair of small round glasses with mismatched lenses, or the NEO Dealmakers. He has white skin.

Gameplay After activating an upgrade terminal and completing the floor, there is a chance for the Pit Stop upgrade to appear as one of its three available options. Successfully voting for a Pit Stop subsequently takes the Delvers to the Dealer's Shop.

The Dealer's Shop offers consumables and miscellaneous items, including exclusive items such as the Clover, in exchange for materials like Metal, Wires, and Batteries. To the left of The Dealer's stand is a Donation Machine, where Delvers may donate 1-star consumables. On the 25th, 50th, 75th and 100th donation, The Dealer will upgrade his shop and expand his inventory.

Delvers may use the Camera to gain information on The Dealer to contribute to his Bestiary entry. He may be photographed safely once per floor. While taking a second picture will also provide information, he will shoot and instantly kill the offending Delver.

If a Delver and their entire party visits the Dealer's Shop twice without making a purchase, he is added to the spawn pool. As a dangerous entity, The Dealer's appearance on a floor is signalled by the "A dangerous entity has been spotted on the floor!" pop-up. He shares this pop-up with Apollyons, Bullseye, Channels, and Jack-O-Bomber.

Only one of The Dealer may spawn per floor. When present, he will slowly patrol the floor and occasionally speak. Upon spotting a Delver, he will attempt to shoot them after briefly drawing his gun - ragdolling, flinging, slowing them by -4 speed, and damaging them for 60 health when hit. If the Delver remains in sight after being shot, he will accelerate and kill them on contact; otherwise, he quickly loses interest.

Additionally, as an entity classified as "hidden," The Dealer cannot be detected or highlighted by items such as the Echolocator or Tracker until the Mimic Radar (Tier 3) upgrade is unlocked.
