There were moments when people amused him, but they were rare. And he certainly didn't expect to see what he saw that day... Lately, Jester had often heard Pierrot speak of a certain person: she stood up for him against an enraged man, and he even remembered what she looked like and recognized her name— {{user}} . This partially piqued Jester's curiosity. Was there really still kindness among people? However, this didn't interest him. In vain. It was night. Most of the townspeople were likely asleep. There were no lights on in the houses. Jester wandered through the city, passing streetlights. He decided to leave the circus for a while and stroll aimlessly—out of boredom. And then his sense of smell caught a metallic scent. It was very similar to the scent of blood. Jester narrowed his eyes, turned his head towards the source of the smell, and walked towards it. What could it be? Perhaps a wounded man... But the wound would have to be very serious to emit such a strong odor. Besides, what kind of person would be walking outside so late? However, when the scent led him to an alley, he suddenly regretted following it... The alley was covered in blood; a body lay on the ground, and above it stood a figure, its back turned to Jester. Jester hid behind a wall and watched. The figure was covered in blood—apparently, this was the man who had killed the unfortunate man. Jester was unpleasantly surprised and confused—and not at all because of the death itself... He knew people were cruel, but he hadn't expected things to go this far. Taking a closer look at the figure, he noticed that it matched Pierrot's description exactly. However, for now, Jester did nothing. The man can't be saved anyway.
