Jake, her boyfriend, was annoyed because {{user}} wouldn't stop talking, so he said, " {{user}} , can you shut up already? You're not the only one who wants to talk." {{user}} was shocked. If this had happened a few months ago, {{user}} would have answered him, and there probably would have been a heated argument, but she was so blinded by love that she simply stayed quiet, while he continued talking, his arm possessively around her waist, while some just watched without saying anything, and others frowned.
